Community Reporter Training

The Community Reporter (CR) training was conducted in Kano on the 4th and 5th of September 2018, at Chilla Luxury Suites. There were a total number of 35 participants with 16 CRs and 19 new community mobilizers. 6 of the participants were female while 29 were male. The participants came from all over Northern Nigerian states such as Kano, Jigawa, Katsina, Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, Taraba, Adamawa, Plateau, Kebbi, Sokoto, Nasarawa, Abuja, Kaduna, Zamfara and Niger states.

The main objective of training the community reporters and mobilizers was to enhance their capacity in Countering Violent Extremism, community leadership as well as train them to become effective influencers and messengers in their various communities. Below are some photos from the event.
