Maryam Rabiu Muhammad
Maryam Muhammad is a seasoned journalist with a track record of over 15 years’ experience working in both Radio and Television. Maryam had worked as a news editor, reporter, and newscaster at both Abubakar Rimi Television and Freedom Radio Kano, where she rose to the rank of Manager News and Current Affairs. She held the position of Senior Public Relations Officer, Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano before joining Equal Access International as Executive Producer Radio and Head of Office.
Maryam holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from University of Maiduguri, Borno state, Masters in Public Policy and Administration (BUK), Postgraduate Diploma in Social Policy and Administration (BUK) and is currently undergoing an MSC Sociology specializing in Criminology (BUK). Maryam Also Possess a certificate on Behavioral Insights to Programming and Communication, from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education.
A community activist and a member of so many platforms and associations, Maryam is an Alumni of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) 2019. Sponsored by the United States Government.
