Halima was previously Lead Presenter, Dandal Kura International where she is responsible for creating Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Radio content based on the Northeastern part of Nigeria’s Context of Conflicts. Also, presenting 3 hours of Hausa and Kanuri Radio Magazine Show with responsibility for Production design and delivery. Prior to Dandal Kura Halima was an ad-hoc- Staff of National Bureau of Statistics participating in conducting many field types of research in and around the northeast in partnership with the Borno State Ministry of Health.

With diver’s communication training in multiple countries, Halima is currently Studying at the University of Maiduguri, for her B. Ed degree, Halima is a Passionate CVE practitioner been from Bama Local Government of Borno State witnessing firsthand the damaged and atrocities by Boko Haram on her Community.
