Gad possess a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He has been working within the development sector for the past thirteen (13) years. He has gained valuable experience networking and partnering with donors, government representatives, national and international NGOs and other stakeholders at local, national and international levels to achieve set and agreed results and provided in-depth analysis and understanding of conflict especially in Northern Nigeria. Some of the projects he has been involved in focus on advocacy, capacity enhancement, education, peace building and security, budget tracking, IDPs, good governance, conflict sensitivity, human rights protection, mediation and gender integration.
Currently, as the Deputy Country Director of Equal Access International Nigeria. Part of his responsibilities include liaising with Equal Access programs across the Sahel, supporting regional CVE strategy, mentoring youth leaders and community partners, managing CVE media and community outreach program activities, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with EA policies and client rules and regulations. Some of his other responsibilities include but are not limited to providing CVE technical support to all Equal Access Nigeria projects, leading collaborative design workshops with local radio and community partners on advancing the CVE field, supporting the design and execution of annual tech camps with youth leaders and documentation of program activities and drafting of quarterly reports.
